1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Portcraft ("the Service"), operated at portcraft.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Portcraft is a web application that transforms resumes into customizable portfolio websites. The Service includes resume parsing, AI-powered content extraction, portfolio generation, and optional hosting on Portcraft subdomains.

3. User Accounts & Data

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your resume data.
• You retain ownership of all content you upload, including your resume and personal information.
• By uploading your resume, you grant Portcraft a limited license to process, parse, and generate a portfolio website from your data.
• You must not upload content that is false, misleading, infringing, or unlawful.

4. Portfolio Hosting

• Free hosting on Portcraft subdomains (yourname.portcraft.in) is provided on a promotional basis and may be subject to change.
• Portcraft reserves the right to remove or suspend hosted portfolios that violate these terms or contain inappropriate content.
• Hosted portfolios are provided "as-is" without guaranteed uptime or availability.
• Source code for your portfolio may be provided for self-hosting purposes.

5. Intellectual Property

The Portcraft platform, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is the intellectual property of Portcraft. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the platform itself.

The portfolio generated for you is yours to use. You may host, share, and modify your generated portfolio as you wish.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without permission.
• Impersonate another person or create portfolios with false credentials.

7. Third-Party Services

Portcraft uses third-party services including OpenAI (ChatGPT) for resume processing, GitHub for code hosting, and Vercel for deployment. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

Portcraft is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Portcraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Modifications to Terms

Portcraft reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Termination

Portcraft may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
